In Eastern spiritual traditions, chakras are the core energy centers in the body capable of bringing healing, order, balance, and enlightenment to the individual. In the Sacred Wisdom Society, we recognize seven energy centers in the body and view them as connection points to the seven sacred energies that are core principles of the universe found throughout different spiritual belief systems.
Why Do Chakras Matter?
Energy (also called “Prana”) flows through the 7 chakras, but sometimes may encounter some blockages, which prevent it from free-flowing. Blocked energy in our seven chakras can often lead to illness or discomfort at many levels, so it’s important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.

Depending on where the blockages are, some foods, lifestyle tips and yoga postures will help open the specific chakras and restore Prana flow.
