On the one hand she is the Goddess of the Sun in her own right, bringing light and healing to all who are transformed by her wisdom, but she is also the Goddess of the Moon with a consort who is the God of the Sun, making him important to her as her companion. Either way of looking at her connection to the sun still holds significance amongst her epithets.
